Apostrophe Use

The apostrophe is often misused when dealing with possession or making plural.

The apostrophe has three uses:

1) to form possessive nouns;

2) to show the omission of letters;

3) to indicate plurals of letters, numbers, and symbols. Do not use apostrophes to form possessive pronouns (i.e. his/her computer) or noun plurals that are not possessives.

When showing possession of a family name or multiple people, it is written as The Smiths NOT The Smith's.  If you were to say The Smith's Home then that is where the apostrophe would be used.

If you put the apostrophe on your order and it is the improper use, we will leave it off and print it correctly.  If you definitely want it printed on your item, please include the note: I WANT THE APOSTROPHE ON MY ITEM.
